Degree Exams to be conducted in telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana CM K.Chandrasekhar Rao conduct a review meeting on 16 July at Pragati Bhavan to discuss issues related to the education sector in the state in the view of COVID 19 pandemic. he directed the official to conduct the final-semester exam of UG and PG students in the state as per the direction of the university grants commission and all India council for technical education (AICTE).

he said that first year and second year of UG and 1st-year students of PG to be promoted to next semesters on the bases of their previous semester marks and internals. He also said the academic year for the engineering colleges will commence from 17 august, as directed by (AICTE) he also decided to prepare a schedule for the common entrance tests (CETs) soon so that students should not lose their academic year. The common entrance tests (CETs) were about to begin in July but postponed due to COVID 19 pandemic.

The government is planning to take the final decision to reopen the schools, other education institutions after examining the central guidelines and the methods adopted by other states. KCR also said that the state will strengthen the government education institution of the state.

Telangana chief minister k.chandarshckaer Rao said by improving the government education institution and giving good quality education we can control the exploitation which is done in the name of education.

KCR said that “after the formation of the new state, we have focused on many issues like power and drinking water in the state and have been solved and finding a solution for irrigation water also and agriculture sector is setting down, there is no land grabbing incident in the state. playing card clubs and production of Illegal liquor have been stopped”.

He said to the official to conduct the workshop in the government schools and colleges on the present condition and discuss the measure that can be taken up to strengthen the quality education and upgrade the education system.

also mentioned that people now have faith and confidence in government hospitals through various efforts made by the state. He also mentions that the state will also help the orphan girls who are studying in Kasturba schools to get higher education.
