Digvijay Singh Welcomes Kunal Kamra, Munawar Faruqui To Perform In Bhopal; Conditions Apply

Amidst the stand-up comedian’s row, the Veteran Congress leaders and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh on Monday welcomed stand-up comedians Kunal Kamra and Munawar Faruqui to act in the state capital.

Singh Guarantees Full Security 

Singh, who has frequently been vocal against the conservative meetings – – RSS, Bajrang Dal, and others- – welcomed the team when their planned projects are arriving in contentions and getting dropped.

Guaranteeing full security to them, Singh set a condition that the subject of the satire ought to be just him (Digvijaya Singh).

Munawar, Kamra Denied Permissions

Last month, Munawar Faruqui was denied permission to hold a show in Karnataka’s Bengaluru in the midst of fights by the Hindu traditional outfits. Following this,  comedian Kunal Kamra  said that every one of his shows in Bengaluru, which were booked throughout the following 20 days, have been dropped. Kamra gave two reasons for why the shows have been rejected, one of which included him getting threats to close down the scene assuming he were to at any point perform there.
