Hyderabad: The father of gang-rape and murder victim Disha on Monday assailed the civil society organizations, which filed petitions in the High court seeking probe into the encounter of the gang of four accused of his daughter’s murder.
He asked the activists as to where they were hiding when his innocent daughter was abducted, gang-raped and set ablaze by the accused. He also said the entire country reacted strongly on the issue as if the gory incident occurred in their own houses.
Speaking to media persons, he said though the killers were gunned down while fleeing the scene of the offence, he did not get 100 percent justice in the case. He said there was an urgent need to create fear among the “human beasts” from committing such unpardonable heinous crimes. Targeting the members of the National Human Rights Commission, he questioned them as to why they did not come to the State immediately after the gory murder of his daughter. He said when the NHRC members visited his house to enquire with them about the incident, the colony residents had questioned the silence of the commission immediately after the death of his daughter. He said the members of the NHRC failed to answer their questions.
