Civil Supplies Minister, Kamalakar today said that the government will appoint ration dealers posts soon.
At a meeting with officials and dealers, he instructed to make necessary arrangements for timely distribution of rice to the poor. He stated that the government released Rs. 56.70 Cr towards arrears to the ration dealers.
Kamalakar said that the poor should face hunger problems during the Corona pandemic and the government is for offering rice for the purpose. The minister said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao gave nod to release arrears for the payment to the dealers.

With KCR instructions the funds being released he said adding that group insurance to be offered to the ration dealers. The dealers to get bills soon and they should focus on giving 15 kg rice in June and 5 kg in July.
The Minister took stock of the rice stocks available, others to reach, and steps to speed up the process. Amid Corona protocols and lockdown timings the civil supplies department will distribute the rice for the poor he said.

The minister hoped that the appointment of ration dealers will ensure speedy and timely distribution of ration items to people. Kamalakar extended thanks to the chief minister for funds release and giving 20 kilo of rice to each poor to tide over the Corona crisis.
