Don’t stigmatize people who have affected with Coronavirus

Hyderabad: Municipal and Industries Minister, KT Rama Rao today appealed to people to not stigmatize those affected with Coronavirus which is not deadly.

Speaking on the occasion,  the minister expressed concern that some people are ignoring family members and others with positive cases.  It is not correct to be irresponsible as recovery from Corona is 99 percent and the death rate is only one percent,  the minister pointed out. Since there is no medicine to date we have to live with Corona for some more time, he said. There is no use of lockdown as an economic activity should continue,  people have to earn by working and it is not the solution, he stated.

The Minister appealed to media to highlight the recovery rate in addition to negative reports which is their right as they are ready to rectify or correct the things related to the virus and other issues.

KTR has appealed that we can overcome the virus if we sure follow its protocol of wearing masks, sanitizing hands, and maintain social distance.  The minister said that anyone mat gets the virus as union home minister Amit Shah, Karnataka Chief Minister,  BS Yediyurappa, and Tamil Nadu Governor Bhanwarilal Purohitand others tested positive for Coronavirus.

Even I get the virus I overcame it and get back to serve you he said. Keeping this pandemic in view let us not ignore or insult others with viruses the Minister appealed.
