Nizamabad: Caretaker Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and MP Kavitha today said that TRS boss and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has advanced the Assembly polls only to get the verdict of people of the Telangana state.
Addressing a program of Munnuru Kapu community here, Srinivas Reddy asserted that the TRS Government has stood as the best among other states in the country in terms of welfare and development. KCR has gone in for the early polls as the opposition parties tried seriously to stall growth and irrigation projects, he said. He also claimed that Telangana is only the state to provide 24 hour free power to farming sector in the country. The TRS boss has given top priority for the welfare of farmers and the poor with several schemes that are being appreciated by other states, he said.
In future we will irrigate one crore acres and 2.5 lakh acres will be stabilised in Nizamabad district, he declared. Kavitha said that KCR has got the support of the people of all sections through a number of schemes. She appealed to the people to vote for the ruling party to get back to power to witness more development. Later on the munnuru kapu community has promised to support the leadership of the TRS and vote KCR back to power.(NSS)
