ED reveals its questioning Rohit Reddy in connection with MLA poaching case

In an unexpected revelation, the Enforcement Directorate informed BRS MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy on Tuesday that he was being questioned in connection with the MLA poaching case.

The legislator, who appeared before ED officials for the second day in a row, was questioned for nearly eight hours before being allowed to leave around 11 p.m. on Tuesday.

It should be noted that the complainant in the case is Rohit Reddy, and the case is being investigated by a Special Investigation Team of the State Police. Despite the BJP’s requests to various courts for a CBI investigation into the case, the Telangana High Court recently reserved orders in this regard.

Rohith Reddy told reporters after the ED questioning that officials informed him that they were questioning him about the MLA poaching case.

“But I am clueless why the complainant is being questioned rather than the accused? At the behest of the BJP, they are harassing me despite me being in Ayyappa Deeksha,” he said, adding that the officials kept questioning him about himself, his family members, their income sources, properties, and sought documents, among other things. He was summoned to the ED again on December 27.

Karnataka drugs case

It is also worth mentioning that Rohit Reddy offered to resign on Sunday if BJP State President Bandi Sanjay and BJP MLA M Raghunandan Rao could prove his involvement in the Karnataka drugs case or that he had received any police notice in this regard. He dared Sanjay to take a pledge at the Sri Bhagyalakshmi temple in Charminar on Sunday at 10 a.m., but he did not show up.

Tandur MLA visited the temple on Saturday and stated that he had received no notice from the Karnataka police in the drug case. He stated that no FIR or case had been filed against him in such a case and challenged Sanjay to reach the temple and prove his allegations by taking a pledge before

“By not turning up at the temple, Bandi Sanjay has admitted to have uttered lies before the people. If he really has proof that I was served the notice, why is he not coming here to take a pledge?” he asked. He had even stated his willingness to take an oath at the Vemulawada Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple, Tandur Bhadreswara Swamy or any other temple. He challenged Sanjay and Raghunandan Rao to back up their claims or publicly apologize.
