Sangareddy: A worker was killed on the spot and five others were grievously injured in a cylinder blast at CIE Industry, an ancillary of Mahindra and Mahindra, located at Buchnepally village near Zaheerabad town in Sangareddy district.
While the workers were busy on their daily routine on Friday morning, the blast occurred causing grievous injuries to all the six persons at the site. One of them, T Pradeep (26), an engineer, was killed on the spot. After providing first-aid, the remaining five persons Ranjith Kumar, Kasinath, Ramulu, Kudi Lingappa and another were shifted to a Corporate Hospital in Hyderabad.
The condition of Ranjith and Kasinath is stated to be critical. A case was registered and the inquiry is on. (NSS)
