In collaboration with Unacademy, a learning platform, the Backward Classes Welfare Department is conducting the entrance test on April 16 from 11 am to 12.30 pm to prepare students for government jobs.

A total of 1.25 lakh candidates will be eligible for free coaching for the recruitment of Groups and police jobs across the state based on the entrance test.
Students will be taught in three modes-physical classes, hybrid (online and offline) and only online. The online and hybrid modes will each coach 50,000 candidates, and another 25,000 candidates will participate in the BC Study Circles physical mode.

A total of 100 questions must be answered in 90 minutes during the entrance test. There will be questions of varying difficulty levels, ranging from easy to difficult. Following the test, the candidate will receive a notification of his or her scores via email and mobile number.
A monthly stipend will be given to eligible candidates in addition to coaching. For candidates seeking Group-I positions, the department will provide stipends of Rs.5,000 per month for six months and Rs.2,000 per month for candidates seeking Group-II and SI jobs for three months.

Backward Class job aspirants to receive coaching free of cost
As part of the BC Study Circle initiative, the Backward Classes Welfare Department opened 100 new coaching centres to provide free coaching to job aspirants. Fifty such centres would be established in a week.
The screening test will be held on April 19 and the registration can be done an hour before the test. Aspirants who wish to attend the coaching must appear for the screening test.
