EPFO has introduced new service for withdrawal of money

New Delhi: Due to the ongoing Corona pandemic, the number of account holders withdrawing the money from their EPFO accounts has been increased significantly. This has been the reason; the Employees Provident fund Organization has made the withdrawal process easier using AI technology (artificial intelligence). Through the help of this new system opted by EPFO, claims of account holders are sorted out within five days. EPFO has said that about 54 percent of Covid-19 claims are being settled through the auto mode.

Despite the lack of workforce in the office, EPFO has withdrawn the money of withdrawals related to Covid-19 in just three days so that people can get help with that money. Using the automated system, the EPFO is settling approximately more than 80000 cases every day and every day depositing the fund of 270 crores in the accounts of PF account holders.

One can withdraw the PF through these easy steps;

1. To withdraw the PF, account holders have to log in on the official website https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/ of EPFO.

2. As the website opens, you have to fill the UN and captcha placed at the right side. After that, click on the sign-in.

3. The page you opened; you can see the employee profile on the right side of the page. Now click on the “manage” tab and select the KYC from the drop-down menu.

4. Click on the online services tab on the next page and select the form (form-31, 19, 10C, and 10D) from the drop-down list.

5. You can see the details of the members right here. Now to verify and enter the last four numbers of your bank account on “yes”.

6. On the next page, select form no. 31. After this, you will see written “I want to apply for” on which you have to click. Now, click on the “proceed for online claim “option.

Conditions for online claims:

1. UAN must be activated.

2. Your verified Aadhar number must be linked with UAN.

3. Bank account must be linked with UAN along with IFSC code.
