“Equal Focus on Development &Amp; Welfare Made Telangana a Model State”: Vinod Kumar

Telangana State Planning Board (TSPB) Vice Chairman, B Vinod Kumar addressed the Newly Recruited Junior Assistants, who are undergoing an Induction Training Program at Dr MCR HRD Institute of Telangana.

Vinod stated, with a sense of pride, that the commitment of the Government to Irrigation, Power Generation, Health Infrastructure, Quality Education, and Filling up Vacant Posts, under the leadership of Chief Minister  K. Chandrashekar Rao, brought in its wake multiple beneficial outcomes for different Stakeholders and thereby made Telangana a Model State, which is being emulated by other States, from across the country.

Continuing his address, Vinod said that the abundant availability of power and water, transfer of money to accounts of farmers as a part of the Rythu Bandhu scheme, purchase of agricultural produce, and successful implementation of the Rythu Bima Scheme, gave new-found confidence to farmers, boosted agricultural and other activities, and thereby led to the V-shape recovery of the economy of the Telangana State, immediately after the onslaught of the second wave of Covid Pandemic.

He stated that the conceptualization and implementation of innovative welfare schemes, which were first of their kind in the entire country, resulted in finding enduring solutions to problems of different vulnerable sections of society, especially their women counterparts.

“While people belonging to middle and upper-middle classes have the resources to address their problems, their counterparts from the poorer sections of society, especially women and those who belong the rural areas, need the continuous help by the Government”, stated Vinod and added that the welfare schemes are the need of the hour and are not at all a burden of the exchequer.

Vinod called upon the youth of Telangana to diversify and enrich their skill profiles and take a lion’s share of job opportunities in the informal sector, which is dominated by workers from other States.

Harpreet Singh,  DG, Dr. MCR HRD Institute (FAC) & Principal Secretary to Government stated that, in a short duration of seven years, the multifarious achievements of Telangana State are mind-boggling. “The Telangana State is now well-known, across the globe, for Good Governance, Quality of Life, Cosmopalitan Culture, Ease of Doing Business, and as a Hot Destination for the Globally- Renowned IT & IT-enabled Organizations”, he added G Hima Bindu welcomed and conducted proceedings of the event. Miss D Mounika proposed a vote of thanks. Both of them are the Trainee Junior Assistants.
