Equal salaries to Field staff, IKP, MEPMA, SERP: CM KCR

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today announced that the State government will take steps for the welfare of all sections.

He also said the removed field assistants numbering 4,000 and above will get salaries equal to the government employees.

Giving a reply in the Assembly during the budget session, KCR said efforts will be made to protect the State interests. KCR announced that the government will give equal salaries to the outsourcing and contract employees in IKP, MEPMA, SERP. “MLAs are urging to give them better salaries and we are committed to their welfare”, he said. “The government will set up medical and nursing colleges and ensure better education for the poor students”, he said.

The Chief Minister reiterated to empower the SC community with Dalit Bandhu with about Rs 4,000 cr protection fund. He instructed the SC welfare and other ministers and MLAs to protect the interests of the SCs through Dalit Bandhu. “The government will address podu lands’ issues with coordination of the MLAs and officials in the districts”, he said. “As suggested by Akbaruddin Owaisi, Bhatti Vikramarkha and Ramesh, the government will take steps to offer coaching and study centers for minorities, protect coal miners’ interests and achieve our state demands and rights from the Centre. Despite non-cooperation from the Centre, the corona effect loss of Rs 1 lakh crore, we are able to go on development path”, the Chief Minister said.

As per NITI Ayog report, deaths of mothers in the State on delivery 56 percent down from previous about 76 percent and Tamil Nadu is about 80 percent. The CM congratulated the Health ministry and officials and staff for the record services being offered.

Bhatti Vikramarkha asked the government to fight for mining, funds, share of taxes from the Centre. He accused the Centre of communal and anti-development policies by selling out the PSUs.  He said single engine growth earns about Rs 1 roughly, the Centre which talks of double engine growth gets only less than 50 paise. “These announcements and policies are just name sake and of no use as we are for welfare of all sections”, KCR said, adding “Despite detractors’ efforts, we are on the right track to give fruits of development to all sections.”
