Expert committee presents report on Inter results

Hyderabad : Education Secretary Dr B Janardhan Reddy today said the government has received a report from three member expert committee on Inter results row.
Interacting with media persons briefly he said that the expert committee comprising three members has submitted its report and the government will go through it before going to take necessary action to plug loopholes or lapses. The government set up the expert committee to find the alleged lapses and irregularities as reported in media related to inter results he said. The secretary called on Chief Secretary SK Joshi and apprised him of the report. They are discussing on the report for further steps.

Janardhan Reddy said that the Committee presented a 10 page report with additional 46 annexure pages related data. The government will go through it and take action. He also said that the government instructed the Collectors to focus on fool proof re-verification and Answer sheets and Re-counting of failed 3.28 lakh students. Arrangements made for the purpose in 132 centers, he added. The Secretary said that to ensure speedy and smooth completion of the process Dharani website of the government is being used.
Inter Secretary Ashok also informed that they have set up 12 centers for re-verification and recounting. About 70.000 to 1.5 lakh answer sheets are being verified in every centre. (NSS)
