An FIR has been filed against Charminar Assembly MLA Mumtaz Ahmed khan at Hussaini Alam police station.
Ghulam Ghouse Jelani filed a complaint against the MLA alleging that the legislator had attacked him physically. Responding to the complaint. The police have decided to observe CC TV footage of the incident.
Speaking on the occasion after filing his complaint, the complainant Jeelani alleged that the MLA came to his residence along with his personal security guards and beat him.
He said that when he asked the MLA the reason behind beating him, the MLA told him that he was punished for not greeting him. He wondered as to why he would greet the MLA. He alleged that the family members of the MLA also threatened to shoot him.
He said that he had taken up the issue with the president of MIM and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi and claimed that Owaisi had asked him to observe restraint in the issue.
