FIR Lodged Against Union Minister’s Son; BJP Calls Lakhimpur Kheri Violence “Planned”

In the latest update from the Lakhimpur Kheri accident, FIR has been lodged against Ashish Mishra Monu, the son of Union Minister of State for Home, Ajay Mishra Teni. According to the FIR, four of the dead were moved down somewhere around a vehicle supposedly being driven by Ashish Mishra.

FIR Calls Incident “Planned” 

The FIR has been lodged under Indian Penal Code (IPC) Sections 302 for homicide, 304-A for causing demise because of reckless driving, 120-B for criminal connivance, 147 for revolting, 279 for rash driving, 338 for making appalling wounds any individual by doing any accident so negligently or carelessly as to jeopardize human existence, alongside different areas at the Tikunia police headquarters.

As per the reports, the FIR suggests that the entire accident was “planned”. And the whole incident was planned to harm the BJP minister and his son. The FIR additionally specifies 15-20 anonymous people as charged.

The FIR further reads that the accident occurred at around 3 pm when Mishra, alongside 15-20 others, who were equipped with weapons, went to the protest site in Banbirpur in 3 speeding four-wheelers.

Monu Mishra, who was perched on the left half of his Mahindra Thar vehicle, opened gunfire, moved down the group and went on. This further prompted the death of the farmer Gurvinder Singh, son of Sukhwinder, a resident of Matronia in Nanpara.”

Four Farmers Were Killed Via An SUV

The above incident happened on October 3 when a few farmers were holding protests during the visit of Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya to Lakhimpur Kheri. On that day, four of the protesting farmers were killed by an SUV.

In the case so far, Priyanka Gandhi has already been detained along with some other Congress members.
