For sure, the Govt. will not act tough against the perpetrators of Morbi: Shravan Garg

Making it clear that no action will be initiated against the perpetrators of Morbi incident, Shravan Garg, the senior journalist said, “All the pictures circulating on social media – wherein accused persons were seen rubbing shoulders with high profile leaders of ruling government, are hinting  at a very clear picture that no action will be initiated against them.”

Sharavan, who was debating over the Morbi issue over a news channel on Wednesday said, “The viral images over social media explained in length that nothing will happen to the perpetrators as they enjoy the blessing of the ruling party leaders as was depicted in the pictures.”

“The thing that needs to be understood here is that the whole government is surviving on the oxygen being provided by the Patel community of Gujarat. Though the Gujarat elections are on the peak, nobody can touch the family which is highly influential, well-off financially and even tops the government list of donors. However, as far as the enquiry committee is concerned, we all know who the members are and what they will come up with their findings. Despite all of this, I must say that all the findings and suggestions of the committee should be taken seriously and implemented without any delay,” argued Shravan.

On the question of whether the incident leaves any impact over the ongoing assembly elections in Gujarat, he said, “Over two third of the population of Gujarat especially the lower and upper middle classes are fully satisfied with the way the BJP is running the functioning. This has been revealed in a survey report being published in a popular newspaper on the day of PM Modi’s visit to Morbi. This will help us ascertain what impact the Morbi incident will have over the assembly elections.”

“Ironically, the trend predicted in the survey report even after the casualties and whiplash of coronavirus more especially about the ventilators scam in Rajkot and 163 pages long observations of Gujarat High Court about the plight of the civil hospital besides the whiplash people live through during the pandemic. This will explain to us how important are assembly elections in Gujarat,” rued the Senior Journalist.

“It is completely worthless to raise a question about PM Modi’s late visit to Morbi. asking that Modi reach the spot on time or not hold no worth. He went there to fulfill a custom as was performed after every calamity. The PM knows everything as the whole government of Gujarat is being run remotely from Delhi. So it is worthless to discuss what impact the Morbi incident will leave on the ongoing assembly elections in Gujarat,” he explained.
