This exciting season will see Formula E racing for the first time in Shanghai at the Shanghai International Circuit, featuring a double-header of races on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26, 2024.
The origins of Formula E in China trace back to the first-ever race in Beijing on September 13, 2014, with subsequent events in the country. Sanya was the most recent host of the Chinese E-Prix in 2019, while Hong Kong also witnessed Formula E races on four occasions over three seasons between Seasons 2 and 5.
Hyderabad will once again host Formula E, with the upcoming race scheduled for Saturday, February 10, 2024. This event is made possible through the support of the Telangana government and Minister KT Rama Rao. The debut race earlier this year in Hyderabad was a remarkable success, attracting a capacity crowd of 31,000 and providing a significant boost of almost $84 million to the local economy.

Season 10 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship has made history by including Tokyo on the calendar, marking the first time a motorsport world championship race will take place on the streets in the heart of the iconic Japanese capital. The race is set for Saturday, March 30, 2024.
Alberto Longo, Co-Founder and chief Championship Officer of Formula E, expressed enthusiasm about the Season 10 calendar. He noted that it offers a compelling mix of street circuits, which are integral to Formula E’s identity, and established race tracks.
This variety will allow drivers to push the capabilities of the GEN3 car to the limit, building on the success of the previous season, which featured a high number of overtakes and thrilling world championship title races. Season 10 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship kicks off in Mexico City on Saturday, January 13, 2024.”
