Four in HB case nabbed, 23 TVs recovered

Hyderabad: The sleuths of C.C.S, Malkajgiri and Medipally police stations of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate have apprehended four house breaking offenders and recovered 23 led TVs worth Rs 4 lakh from their possession.

The accused were identified as Imran Khan, 26, and Auto Driver of Hemangar Colony in Uppal and native of Nanded of Maharastra State, Syed Hussain, 20, a Labourer of Gayatrinagar, Boduppal; Mohd Shafiaddin Siddiq, 20, AC Mechanik of Bodrayi, Chilukanagar, Uppal; Mohd Mudasir Ali, 19, of Chilukanagar, Uppal, and Zilla Santhosh, 32, Amazon Employee, residing at Mata Enclave, Pavanpuri Colony, Champapet (Receiver).

According to the police, complainant Malpani Suil of “Malpani Antenna Electrical Pvt Ltd” on Road No 01, Sri Sai Nagar Colony, Boduppal locked the main doors of his godown on October 7 night and went home. On October 9, the complainant opened his godown main door and found that 23 TVs were missing. He also noticed that the wall on the backside of the godown was broken and TVs were stolen.

On a tip-off, the CCS team Malkajgiri and Medipally Police, who took up investigation, rushed to Boduppal crossroads and apprehended the accused and interrogated them. The accused confessed to have committed the burglary. The police recovered one Videocon TV, 15 LG TVs, seven TCL TVs, and an Auto which was used in the commission of the offense.

Police said the offenders used to receive the godown area in the day time and committed the offense by breaking the godown wall in the night and committed the offence. (NSS)
