Free coaching offered to unemployed youth for police jobs

According to SP J Surender Reddy, since the government has decided to recruit policemen on a large scale, the district police has decided to provide free coaching to job aspirants.

“Candidates interested in this training should contact their local police station and submit an application along with a copy of their education certificates, their Aadhaar card, and their height information (167.6 cm for men and 152.5 cm for women). The best coaching will be provided for the written exam as well as the physical fitness exam,” the SP said.

Good response for free coaching for police jobs in Siddipet

A free coaching programme provided by the Siddipet Police in 2018-19 helped 158 youngsters secure jobs, including constables and sub-inspectors of police. About 150 of them were recruited as constables, forest beat officers, or junior assistants, while the remaining eight got SI jobs.

Siddipet Police provided physical training and coaching for the preliminary and main written examinations under the guidance of Finance Minister T Harish Rao. After the success of the candidates coached during the last recruitment, 4,440 candidates participated in the written screening test conducted by Siddipet Police on March 20 to provide free coaching this year.

N Swetha, the Commissioner of Police, began the process of providing free training after Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao announced that over 18,000 personnel will be inducted into the Police department. Those who pass the screening test will receive free training at the Siddipet, Gajwel, and Husnabad Police Sub-divisional Headquarters.

Siddipet Police provided free coaching to 1,906 candidates for the constable post and to 526 candidates for the SI post in 2018. 1 081 candidates passed the preliminary constable recruitment examination, while 371 passed the preliminary SI examination. Of the 1,081, only 912 passed the physical endurance test.
