Vinay Srivastava, a friend of Union Minister of State Kaushal Kishore’s son, was shot dead with a pistol at the house of Union Minister of State Kaushal Kishore in Begria village of Thakurganj police station area of Lucknow.
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and are busy investigating. A heavy police force including DCP Rahul Raj and ADCP Chiranjeevi Nath Sinha is present at the spot. The police have detained three persons and started questioning them. The family members have filed a complaint alleging murder. However, the pistol from which the shot was fired is said to belong to Vikas.
In the shooting at the MP’s son’s residence, Vikas Kishor’s son Vikas Kishor’s friend was shot dead in his own house. The deceased has been identified as Vinay Srivastava who was a friend of Kaushal Kishore’s son Vikas Kishore. As soon as the news of the murder was reported, the entire area was in chaos. According to information, Vinay Srivastava was shot at 4:15 a.m.

DCP Rahul Raj said, ‘Vine Srivastava has died. He died from the bullet. There is a mark of injury on the head. Six people came to the house together. Had dinner and then the shooting happened. A pistol has also been recovered from the spot after this incident. The pistol is said to belong to Vikas Kishore. Details are being investigated. A forensic team has been deployed. CCTV cameras are also being checked.
According to the police, a total of 6 people including Ajay Rawat, Ankit Verma, Shamim Baba, and Bunty were present at the spot. The family members have accused Ajay, Ankit, and Shamim of murder and filed a police complaint.
On the question of the incident and the accused, Union Minister Kaushal Kishore said, ‘This is a matter of investigation. When I came to know, I informed the police commissioner. A forensic team along with police officers also reached the spot. They are investigating. The body has been sent for post-mortem. What is true will come out.
He said, did your son’s pistol fire? On this question, Kaushal Kishore said that it is a matter of investigation. Action will be taken against whoever is found guilty. I don’t know who was there at the time of the incident. Because Ashu (son) was not there when this shot was fired. He had gone to Delhi.
He said that after receiving the information, I informed the police. My son Vikas was not here at the time of the incident, he was in Delhi. An impartial investigation of the incident will be conducted, action will be taken against whoever is found guilty. We are with the families of the victims.
Vikas Srivastava, brother of the deceased youth, said, ‘He was always with Vikas Kishore. They used to come late at night. I was very late in coming yesterday, so the call came late at night and I went to the spot and found my brother dead. The way the shirt was found torn, the buttons of the shirt were broken, Vikas Kishor’s licensed revolver was found, two or three people were found there and Ankit Verma, Sameem Baba, and Ajay Rawat said that it was suicide, but it was not.
He said the brother had been killed. The minister’s son was not present when the incident took place. Whoever killed my brother should be punished.
