Gau Rakshaks Go Hyper Vigilant Over Cow Slaughter

As per the latest reports, a meeting from a minority local area purportedly attacked two cow vigilantes in Mathura, after they coercively went into their homes, suspecting cow butcher.

Police said no proof of any such demonstration was found at the site.

As indicated by reports, around twelve ‘gau rakshaks’, driven by Ravi Kant Sharma, leader of the Gau Raksha Dal, assaulted the places of in Mewati on Sunday. Individuals from the minority local area claimed that the men were attempting to take their bison when two of them were gotten.

SP (city) M P Singh said that a FIR was held up against 14 individuals under IPC Sections 307 (endeavor to kill), 147 (revolting), and 323 (intentionally causing hurt), in view of a protest documented by Sharma at the Kotwali police headquarters. The matter in under investigation.
