Hyderabad: Former Minister and the Congress party MLA D.Sridhar Babu today demanded the state government to give clarity on all-important revenue topics mentioned in the Telangana State Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks bill 2020. Referring to topics like sale deed, gift deed, and partition deed, he urged the state government to explain them in detail. He made these remarks while taking part in a discussion on the proposed revenue bill.
Speaking on the occasion Sridhar Babu said that the term Jagir had not yet been defined by the state government in the bill and urged it to look into the issue of the Jagir lands. He said that there was no clarity over the authority which would rectify the mistake that occurs during the registration of the lands. He advised the state government to give clarity on all the issues to avoid any problem in the future. Citing that more than 16,000 land disputes are pending in the revenue courts of the state, he said that it was heartening to note that the CM of the state KCR has announced to constitute tribunals to solve the disputes. Citing that the details of the several pieces of land are not still recorded with the Tehsildars and the rods of the state, he urged the state government to think about them.
