Government Is Implementing the Schemes for the Poor : KTR

Telangana Municipal and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao today stated that the government will protect the interests of the poor in the state.

Soon we will give pattas to the poor who have occupied lands at Pirjadiguda and nearby areas, the minister said. The minister participated in some development programs with the minister Malla Reddy and others.

Speaking on the occasion KT Rama Rao has claimed that the government is implementing the schemes for the poor, women and people. We the ministers will come again here to give you the pattas he said. The Minister maintained that the issue of regularizing the houses will be taken to the notice of the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. We will give them pattas with regularization pattas,the minister said. He inaugurated a Vaikuntadhamam and attended some development programs. Roads, canals will be constructed by spending adequate funds and provide more amenities to the people in the locality, he said. I will take the responsibility to give the pattas to the poor by talking with the Chief Minister, he said.

The state government has been implementing several schemes for the women, poor, and farmers. He listed out the schemes like no other states are able to start with. Rythu Bandhu gives Rs 10000 per acre, rythu bhima offers Rs 5 lakh insurance to the farmers’ kin after any death, he said. Telangana is offering 24-hour free power to farming sector to boost agriculture activities and avoid burden of the bills and loan-related issues. The minister also said that the poor families are able to perform marriages of their girl children through government help. For this we implement Kalyana Lakshmi, Shadi Mubarak and give Rs1.16 lakh t oeach such family, KT Rama Rao claimed. KCR Kits is a big hit in the state as most of the people are coming to the government hospitals for deliveries. They are getting benefits of Rs 12000 and Rs 13000 on delivery of a baby boy and girl respectively, he said.

 He said that the officials are being directed to complete the canal works to join the Musi river by the next rainy season and check inundation problems. We gave water connections to 90 percent of the houses and will cover all he said adding that the GHMC and officials are working for more amenities. The minister appreciated local officials for Vaikuntadhamam for all religions, KTR said.
