Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has greeted Christians on the occasion of ‘Good Friday’ on April 2.
In a message, She said Good Friday is observed by Christians all over the World in memory of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ showed great love towards all human beings and made the ultimate sacrifice for their welfare. On this day, His sacrifices are remembered with solemn hymns and prayers of thanksgiving.

On this sacrificing day of Good Friday, I appeal to all of you to safely observe the Good Friday by adhering to all the preventive norms to contain the spread of the prevailing second wave of Covid-19, the Governor said.
