Telangana Development of IT in all the four sides of the city is the aim of the State Government, the Minister for Industry and IT, KT Rama Rao declared today.
Plans were worked out to ensure that one lakh people got jobs in East Hyderabad city. When the Genpact expansion program is completed, the aim will be nearly achieved, he said.
Speaking at the Bhoomi puja of GenPact ( IT company) expansion works, along with Minister Malla Reddy. Speaking on the occasion, KTR thanked Genpact Company for taking up the expansion program. He said Shilparamam was established at Nagole for the development of Hyderabad’s east side. International cricket stadium is also located in this area. Skywalk is being built from Uppal to Narapalli and Uppal junction, he added.

Ramarao further said that the east city is being developed on par with the west city. He assured support for private developers. He thanked Gen Pact for expansion works at Warangal also.
Uppal MLA, Bethi Subhash Reddy, IT Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, former Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and others participated in the bhoomi puja.
