Govt of Telangana approves funds for Hyderabad’s road infrastructure

As per the latest reports, the Telangana government has approved funds for road improvements for the GHMC limits. This step has been welcomed by local leaders and residents.

According to Anil Kumar, a local leader from the Nampally area, the road from Sarojini main road to Pocham Basti is in poor condition. Therefore, they approached an authority and received 50 lakh, a tender was issued, and a contract was granted. The start of development work is very fortunate, and local residents are also happy.

He thanked the Telangana government and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Due to the terrible condition of the roads, Mohd Fasalullah Khan, a local resident, said many people fell from their bikes.

Local leaders petitioned the Telangana government for approval of the road with the assistance of MLAs. Road approval has been given, and CC roads will be built soon. It will be easier to travel this route, he said.

State govt spending a lot of money on Hyderabad’s development

The state government is taking steps to make Hyderabad, the state capital, one of the top 30 urban areas in the world.

The city is already a popular commercial destination, and the government has recently invested Rs 671.19 crore in the Strategic Road Development Programme (SRDP), Rs 393.93 crore in the Comprehensive Road Maintenance Programme (CRMP), and Rs 114.97 crore in the Hyderabad Road Development Corporation Limited (HRDCL).

In addition to this, 37 projects under the Strategic Nala Development Programme (SNDP) were undertaken at a cost of Rs 735 crore. The State government has approved Rs 3,434 for sanitation works and projects in the city.

The city reportedly ranks high in terms of per capita purchasing power, security, healthcare facilities, the standard of living, economic competitiveness, property value appreciation, and atmospheric transformation patterns.
