Civil Supplies Minister G Kamalakar today stated that there is an adequate number of grain purchase centers in the state. He urged farmers to a kid worth as their farm produce will be procured.
We have set up 1033 centers across the state he said adding that the district officials were asked to monitor the situation and ensure paddy was procured.
The Minister said that the government is ready to purchase their products and farmers should not worry.
He held a review meeting with officials on paddy procure centers, arrangements for shifting, and transportation facilities.
Kamalakar directed the collectors and district officials to ensure farm produce was procured from these centers. He took stock of farmers demanding to procure crops.

The Minister asked the officials to address issues of untimely rains, problems that arise after, and protests by farmers.
The Minister said that 1033 purchase centers were started in all mandals to procure the paddy .
All facilities are made including tarpaulin covers, hamalis field staff, vehicles, use technology to speed up process, the Minister added.
