Hyderabad: TRS Leader Gutha Sukhender Reddy today took charge as MLC at Telangana Legislative Council here.
Deputy Chairman of the Council N Vidyasagar Rao has administered oath of office and secrecy to Sukhender Reddy who was unanimously elected MLC under MLA quota.
Assembly Secretary and election returning official Dr V Narsimha Charyulu announced last Monday about Reddy’s unanimous election as MLC under MLA quota. He also offered Gutha the authentication certificate stating that the latter will continue to be the MLC till June 3, 2021.
Ministers G Jagadish Reddy, S Niranjan Reddy, V Prashanth Reddy, MPs, MLAs, MLCs and Narasimha Charyulu were present. (NSS)
