Hanumantha Rao slams TPCC chief Uttam

Veteran Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao today slammed the TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and alleged that the state chief of the party was not taking any action against those leaders who are threatening him and abusing him.

He urged the AICC state in charge to focus on the affairs of the party at least now. He also urged him to appoint the new PCC chief after taking into consideration the views of all the important party leaders.

He said that the recently joined party leaders should not be given importance without considering the views of the veteran and senior party leaders. He also the party high command to focus on the reasons behind the failure of the party in the state.

He said that there was a need to go ahead in the state after correcting the mistakes done by the party in the past. He said that the party high command should take steps and go ahead with an objective to come back into power after the 2023 assembly elections.

He said that the prime minister of the country had taken the decision to administer free vaccines to all those who have crossed 18 years after a demand by the party’s national president Sonia Gandhi.

He said that there was a need for the party leaders to take such issues into the public domain frequently. He also said that the party leaders should also raise critical issues like hike petrol and diesel prices and essential commodities in order to win back their trust.
