Harayana Touches All time High Power Demand Amidst Excruciating Heatwaves

Citing last year’s interest during summer, he said it was 12,125 MW each day. This season, it is normal to contact 15,000 MW. To fill this hole of 2,500 to 3,000 MW, the public authority has made satisfactory courses of action.

As of now, three units of 250 MW each are working in Panipat, while two units of 600 MW each in Khedar and two units of 300 MW each in Yamunanagar. Likewise, 1,400 MW of power is being organized from Adani Power Plants.

As indicated by the Chief Minister, to conquer the rising power utilization during summer, issues at the power station in Khedar town are being settled and it will before long be made functional. Additionally, he said, another power plant of 750 MW would be set up in Yamunanagar. After its establishment, extra power will be created.
