Hyderabad: The High Court today served notices on Tirumala-Tirupati Devastanam (TTD) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Andhra Pradesh State Endowment Department while dealing with a petition alleging that the TTD dug for hidden treasures and on disappearance of ornaments and on transactions of TTD.
The petitioner urged the court to order a CBI inquiry into the allegations the TTD was facing. After perusing the petition, the High Court served notices to TTD and AP Endowment Department directing them to submit a charter of oath with full details within three weeks. Devotees named Bhupender Goswami from Gujarat and Anil Kumar from Andhra Pradesh (Guntur) filed the petition. (NSS)
