Heavy rain leads to people evacuation in Warangal

Due to constant Heavy rain in the state and continue to lash in the old Warangal district. The authority has shifted 5000 people in various parts of the district. The water level in the Godavari river at Ramannagudem Pushkar Ghat in Muluga district has touched 9.90 metres on Sunday, the authority has shifted at least 1000 people from low lying areas of Eturunagaram village which is located near the Godavari river.

Warangal Heavy rain,3000 or more people were shifted to 13 relief centres in Warangal city as the low-line area was submerged in floodwater. Chitakodur Dam in Jangaon District was also overflowing due to constant rainfall. In Bommera Village in Palakurthy Mandal, the house has collapsed due to the heavy rainfall.

More 1000 people have been shifted to the relief centres in manga pet Mandal from various villages which were situated near the bank of the Godavari river, the chairperson of Zilla Parishad Kusuma Jagadeeshwar and Mulugu MLA Seethakka are taking care of evacuation process.

The overflow of Jampanna Vaagn which runs along the Modaram Shring has resulted in a flood in many villages road have also been a block to several Villages with Jedi Vaagu also in spate.

Roads near the historic Temple Ramappa have been submerged in water and causing many problems to the moment of the vehicle between Ganapuram Mandal. the Laknavaram lake is also overflowing six feet above the actual level.

There was 23.36cm of rainfall in the Venkatpuram Mandal and the road connectivity was suspended in several Villages because of the overflow of the Morancha Vague and Chali Vaagu . and the people are been evacuated and been shifted to a safe place because the water has entered the houses in the village of Mahadevpur Mandal.
The production of coal was stoped in open cast mines in Tadicherla and Bhupalpally.

The water level in the Godavari river has touched 11.74 meeter near Kaleshwaram.
The road connectivity has been closed to Muddunur Village in Duggondi Mandal, path Govindapur, Ashravelli and Kondapur Village in the NallaBelli Mandal. Pakhal Lake is also overflowing from the actual It’s level.
