Help rain hit houses: KT Rama Rao tels MLAs

Hyderabad: Municipal Minister KT Rama Rao today instructed MLAs and mayor, deputy mayor officials to ensure financial support to all those families affected badly in rains in the city.
At a meeting in Pragati Bhavan here the minister has said that Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao aim is to help money to the flood victims immediately. 

He directed the leaders and officials to coordinate to see that every household affected in the heavy rains and floods be given financial help.  The leaders have already started giving Rs 10000 to every household affected by the rains.  The state government has released Rs 550 cr towards help to the deluge ravaged in the city. 

The chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has asked for providing Rs 10000 to each house affected in the heavy rains.  Monitor the temporary shelters at field level to offer food,  medicines,  blankets to victims he asked.  KT Rama Rao has instructed that the MLAs stay put in the flood-ravaged areas and help the needy. 

The minister said that mire relief and rescue measures be intensified in rain areas.  Despite more rains, forecast relief should not stop he said.  The GHMC has set up shelters for rain victims which are to be monitored by the leaders.  The MPs, MLAs, MLCs in the GHMC have announced their two months of salary to CMRF to take up relief measures.
