Hyderabad: Refusing to pass any interim order without knowing the stand of the state government on the Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) scheme.
A division bench of the Telangana High Court on Thursday issued notices to the state government and other authorities and asked them to file counter affidavit in a Public Interest PIL challenging GO 131 issued on August 31 this year by the state government for regularization of unapproved and illegal layouts under the Land Regularization Scheme (LRS) in both rural and urban areas in the state. The PIL was filed by a city-based Forum For Good Governance.
The division bench later posted the matter to October 8 next month for further hearing.
