Hindu Groups To Launch Movement To Liberate Temples From Government Control

As per the latest reports, the prominent seers and religious organisations have chosen to take a ‘firm decision’ to free Hindu temples from the control of state legislatures at the ‘Dharam Sansad’ which is to be held at the forthcoming Magh Mela in Prayagraj.

ABAP To Liberate Temples From Government Control 

Mahant Ravindra Puri, leader of the Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP), the summit dynamic assemblage of 13 Hindu akharas or devout orders of the nation, said, “The exceptionally significant ‘Dharam Sansad’, planned to be hung on January 30, will set up a diagram for a mass development to be sent off for liberating temples from government control.”

Puri said, “It is an incongruity that few authorities, who are of various religions, take choices on our temples and mutts and the present circumstance can’t be permitted to proceed with any more. Undertakings of numerous noticeable temples of our nation, including Tirupati Balaji, Sri Jagannath or Siddhi Vinayak, are being taken care of by the government. Moreover, a few temples and mutts which are being taken care of by people who are of various religions and are not very much aware of our strict practices and ceremonies.”

Leader of Akhil Bhartiya Dandi Swami Parishad, Swami Brahmashram, said, “Legislatures ought not have anything to do with overseeing reserves, everyday undertakings or so far as that is concerned the strict ceremonies and practices of temples and mutts.”

PanchKoshi Parikrama To Be Held From January 27 to 29

The ‘Dharam Sansad’ at Magh Mela is huge on the grounds that it addresses all holy people and strict associations and is approved to take up issues connected with the Hindu religion.

The Dharam Sansad has prior examined the issues like development of Ram temple in Ayodhya, Krishna temple at Mathura, Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi, making the Ganga contamination-free, passings of cows, and so forth.

In the meantime, it has been chosen by the prominent seers of the Akhara Parishad that a ‘Panchkoshi parikrama’ would be held at Prayagraj from January 27 to 29. ABAP general secretary Mahant Hari Giri would lead the ‘parikrama’.

The Dharam Sansad is proposed to be held at a camp named after ‘Bhagwan Duttatreya’ on January 30.
