They further added that they have been trying to contact the nodal officers but haven’t been able to connect. Over 135 Covid patients are on life support in the hospital. They tagged Prime Minister Office, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister Office and Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.

Soon after, at 9:20 am, SGRH said that they have only 500 cubic meter of oxygen left at the hospital which would last only after 30 minutes. At the same time, Batra Hospital also reported the same.

However, Gupta said they received only 500 litres of medical oxygen after “pleading for nearly 12 hours”. But their daily requirement is 8000 litres of medical oxygen.

Around 9:30 am, Dr D.K Baluja, Medical Director at the Jaipur Golden Hospital said that they are still waiting for oxygen. They have over 215 Covid patients that are dependent on ventilators and medical oxygen supply.

“Please help, we are desperate,” said Dr Baluja.
