Huzurabad By-Elections: Political Parties Kickstart Backroom Politics to Woo Voters

Election campaign for the by-elections in the Huzurabad Assembly constituency has come to an end, the key political parties of the state have started backroom politics to woo the voters of the constituency.

Reports are rife that the key political parties like Congress, TRS, and BJP leaders are planning to distribute money to the voters secretly to secure their votes. It is already said that the leaders of these parties have supplied abundant number of liquor bottles to lure the voters.

It is also learnt that the leaders of these parties have supplied met during the recent Dasara festival. The political analysts are saying that the last two days before the day of the by-elections are very important as they decide the victory chances of the contesting candidates. The election campaign has come to an end at 7 pm on Thursday.

According to the election commission rules, the election campaign should be stopped 72 hours of the actual day of the polling. The three key political parties have taken up the by-elections as a challenge.

Although a total of 30 candidates are contesting the by-elections, the contest is between the ruling TRS party candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav, BJP candidate Etela Rajender and Congress party candidate Balmuri Venkat Rao.

The leaders of the key political parties have undertaken over five months-long campaigns in the constituency. The elections will be held on October 30, The counting of the votes would be held on November 2.
