Hyderabad: BJP set to hold its 2-day national executive from July 2

According to sources in the party, the BJP will hold its national executive for two days starting from July 2 in Hyderabad.

As the BJP’s key decision-making body, it comprises party leaders from across the country.

Amit Shah, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and BJP president JP Nadda are among the top leaders expected to attend the meeting.

According to sources, the BJP is holding its key body meet in Hyderabad as it works to emerge as the main contender against the TRS in Telangana.

The Union Ministry of Culture will celebrate “Telangana Formation Day” at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre in Delhi on June 2. Home Minister Amit Shah will be the chief guest.

Telangana was formally formed on June 2, 2014, and this day is known as Telangana Day or Telangana Formation Day. The National Implementation Committee has approved the event.

In celebration of the state’s eighth anniversary, the program aims to highlight the roots of the land of culture, heritage, architectural magnificence, and unsung heroes of India’s youngest state.

The program will include performances by popular singers from Telangana, such as Mangali and Vedala Hemachandra. School children from Haryana, a partner state of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, will also perform at the event.

Telangana’s rich cultural heritage will be highlighted by folk dancers and performances by Kathak Kendra Delhi.

As part of the preparation for Telangana State Formation Day celebrations in Hyderabad, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and DGP M Mahendar Reddy reviewed the full-dress rehearsal at Public Gardens on Tuesday.

CM Rao will hoist the tricolour in the public garden on Thursday morning after paying tribute at the Telangana Amaraveerula Stupam in Gun Park to the martyrs.

The state government has prepared a 172-page progress report to mark the eight-year anniversary of Rao’s governance, highlighting his performance, the welfare programs he has implemented, and the ongoing projects he is working on. State ministers are responsible for presenting district-specific reports to the people of their districts.
