Hyderabad Police department said to be geared up for festivals

Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand stated that the City Police department was geared up for upcoming festivities such as Holi, Sri Rama Navami, and Hanuman Jayanthi. Station House Officers were told to keep an eye out for troublemakers, communal violators, and rowdy sheeters.

Every Friday, the Commissioner visits the Purani Haveli and enjoys a group lunch with officers as part of the old custom. He examined several locations in the West Zone and paid a surprise visit to the police stations in Mangalhat, Kulsumpura, and Habeebnagar.

Anand told the reporters that Sub-inspectors reporting to the City Police from districts were being guided by divisional and zonal level authorities to get them up to speed on metropolitan policing. He reviewed the stations’ infrastructure and records and spoke with the officials.
