Hyderabad Police Enforce Strict Regulations in Cyberabad region

The Hyderabad City Police Act 21/76 is being severely executed in the Cyberabad region, with a special focus on Shadnagar, as part of a deliberate effort to maintain law and order.

To ensure compliance, the enforcement initiative targets numerous establishments and imposes stringent closing times.

Wine shops must close at 10 p.m., pan shops by 11 p.m., and bars, restaurants, dhabas, and tea stalls by 12 a.m., according to the new regulations. Any violation of these time limits would result in the application of the Hyderabad Police Act 21/76 to the perpetrator.

Pratapa Lingam, the Town CI of Shadnagar, highlighted the importance of the enforcement procedures. Initial violators will be fined Rs 25,000 and summoned to court. Lingam issued a strong warning that repeated infractions could result in increased fines of up to Rs 50,000.

These strict steps are in line with Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Avinash Mohanty’s directions. Residents and businesses who fail to comply with the regulations are advised to immediately report noncompliance to the authorities for fast action.

The increased enforcement aims to establish a safer and more controlled environment, which will contribute to the overall well-being of the Cyberabad community.
