The residents of Jubilee Hills today staged a protest program in front of Tot pub. They demanded the authorities concerned to take steps immediately to remove the pub from their area. They alleged that the local police were ignoring their complaints on the issue.
They said that the pub was running till 2 am in the mid-night and the music system causing a lot of disturbance to them. They alleged that the youth visiting the pub was very bad and alleged that some of the visitors were throwing their consumed liquor bottles in front of their houses. They also said that the presence of the pub had become an issue for them and added that the excise police were not responding to their numerous complaints.

Meanwhile, the resident associations of the area have also approached the high court of the state on the issue and filed petitions before the apex court of the state. The HC heard their petitions today and adjourned the matter till the 22nd of this month.
