Hyderabad: Roadshow planned to welcome JP Nadda at Shamshabad

JP Nadda is expected to arrive in Hyderabad on Friday ahead of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s National Executive meeting this weekend.

To welcome Nadda, the party’s state unit is planning a mega roadshow that extends about one kilometer from the Hyderabad International Airport at Shamshabad.

In preparation for the BJP National Executive meeting on July 2 and 3, delegates have begun arriving in Hyderabad.

There will be meetings of the national general secretaries and office bearers on July 2 and a public meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 3 at the Parade Ground.

This public meeting will be attended by Mr. Modi, Mr. Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, and chief ministers and leaders from all BJP-ruled states.

To prepare for the national executive, the BJP has asked its members to reach out to all 119 constituencies across Telangana for a Sampark Abhiyan.

Approximately 250 delegates have already confirmed their participation, and some are beginning to arrive, causing local hospitality units to be proactive. According to party sources, they will stay at Novotel Hotel while the Delhi media reps will stay at Radisson Blu Hotel.

Media coverage is limited to visuals at the beginning of party meetings. During the day, the mandated spokespersons will address official press conferences. Despite the party’s minimal presence in most constituencies, the local leadership is said to be scratching its head on logistics in most 119 constituencies.

Telangana’s Assembly elections are set for 2023, and the BJP sees an opportunity to bring down the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi government as a result of its initiative.

The recent Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections and the recent interaction between the corporators and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are said to be turning points for the saffron party which is looking to make strides in the Southern region.
