Hyderabad theatres to screen ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ at 4am with Govt’s approval

The much-awaited Tollywood film Sarkaaru Vaari Paata, starring Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh, was released today, May 12. The action-comedy is directed by Parasuram Petla and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus, and G Mahesh Babu Entertainments.

An earlier report suggested that Hyderabad is screening 325 shows of the movie. In addition to hiking the ticket prices for a week, the Telangana government has also approved shows at 4 AM in the city.

Additional screenings of the Mahesh Babu film are scheduled for Bramaramha, Mallikarjuna, and Vishwanath theatres in Kukatpally, and the Sree Ramulu theatre in Moosapet.

It had been requested by the film distributor Sri Venkateswara Films that the state government allow a special screening on the day of the film’s release, and the government has agreed.

Many media reports indicated that Rohini Silver Screens will also be showing the movie tomorrow at 4 am. Mahesh Babu has a large fan following in Tamil Nadu, too, and they look forward to seeing him in action in the early hours of the show.

Namrata Shirodkar, Mahesh Babu’s wife and actress, watched the 4 a.m. show of Sarkari Vaari Paata at a theatre in Hyderabad on Thursday. For the early morning show, Namrata was accompanied by some family members.

There was a pre-release event of the film on May 7 at the Yousufguda Police Grounds in Hyderabad, for which a traffic advisory was released.

With 25 million views and 1 million likes so far, the trailer, which was released on Monday, continues to trend on YouTube.

While the trailer as a whole raised the drama, an adult dialogue, an innuendo, and a few of double-meaning phrases did not sit well with Telugu viewers which had sparked a debate prior to the release.
