Hyderabad: Traffic diversions in place due to Bharath Jodo Yatra

The Hyderabad/Cyberabad traffic police have announced certain traffic diversions for four days starting Sunday due to Congress Party’s MP Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra that will enter Hyderabad on Sunday.

On Sunday, Cyberabad Traffic DCP T Srinivasa Rao issued an order to this effect.

October 31, between 6 am and 3 pm, Shadnagar Traffic Police Station area:

At Shadnagar X road, traffic coming from Pargi towards Hyderabad will be diverted onto NH-444.

On NH-44, vehicles traveling from Hyderabad to Shadnagar town will be diverted at Kothur Y Junction.

Shadnagar vehicles heading towards Hyderabad will be diverted at Chatanpally Railway Station Road and Keshampet Railway Gate.

There will be one lane for vehicles coming from Jadchalra and Shadnagar towards Hyderabad, and another lane for the procession from Kothur X road, Timmapur, and Chegur T junction.

October 31, between 3 pm and 8 pm, Shamshabad Traffic Police Station area:

The vehicles coming from Bengaluru towards Shamshabad will be diverted at Palamakula Village to JIVA Astramam.

On November 1 between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m., vehicles will be diverted within the limits of Shamshabad Traffic Police Station

Bengaluru-bound vehicles will be diverted to Rallaguda Service Road at Tondupally Tollgate.

November 2, from 6 am, Balanagar Traffic Police Station area:

At Bowenpally Junction (Hyderabad City Limits), traffic heading towards Balanagar will be diverted.

At Ferozguda junction, vehicles coming from Bowenpally towards Balanagar will be diverted.

On the Balanagar Flyover, vehicles coming from Bowenpally toward Kukatpally will be diverted.

Balanagar T Junction will serve as a detour for vehicles coming from Bowenpally toward Kukatpally.

Toward Kukatpally, traffic from Bowenpally and Jeedimetla will be diverted at Narsapur Junction Left Turn.

In case the yatra takes both routes, traffic coming from Kukatpally towards Bowenpally might also be diverted at Narsapur Junction.

November 2, between 6.30 am and 8.30 am, Kukatpally Traffic Police Station area:

The procession will use one lane of the road, and vehicles coming from Balanagar towards Ambedkar Y Junction will use the other lane.

Only two lanes of the NH-65 road will be allowed for traffic coming from Moosapet towards ICRISAT, while the other two lanes will be used for the procession.

November 2, between 8.30 am and 10.30 am, KPHB Traffic Police Station area:

A bifurcation of the NH-65 road from Kukatpally to ICRISAT with cones and ropes will allow traffic on only two lanes, while another two lanes will be for the procession.

November 2, between 10.30 am and 6.30 pm, Miyapur Traffic Police Station area:

There will be a bifurcation of the road on NH-65 road between JNTU and ICRISAT, with only one lane for vehicles and three lanes for the procession.

It has been requested by the Cyberabad traffic police that the public take note of the Traffic Advisory and plan accordingly.
