Hyderabad: BJP state president Dr K Laxman has thrown challenge at caretaker minister K T Ramarao saying that he will offer Rs.10,000 if the latter shown a road without pits in Hyderabad city.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Laxman said that the national party was extending its full support to the state leadership to show its strength in the ensuing elections. Targeting TRS government, Laxman said that caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao deceived the people by not fulfilling his own assurance of constructing double bed room houses to the poor. KCR came to power in GHMC elections by showing heaven in the palm. He ridiculed KCR saying that KCR transformed the Hyderabad city as a ‘Sad City’ instead of transforming ‘Global City’. Nobody knows as to where the people would be washed out in Nalas during rainy season, he said and alleged that TRS was the party deceives the house where it eats. Stating that KCR failed to give an appointment to none other than caretaker home minister Naini Narsimha Reddy, Laxman asked as to what about common man’s situation. He said that they will waive off the interests on the loans of women at one go.
Senior leader Dattatreya has ridiculed caretaker minister T Harish Rao for saying that central government was anti-farmer government. He said that TRS government has the credit of handcuffing the farmers. The TRS party not even included minimum support price to the crops of the farmers in its manifesto yet, he pointed out. He alleged that suicides of the farmers increased in Telangana state after TRS party coming to power. He reminded that the central government increased the minimum support price to several crops.
