India releases Chinese soldier who crosses disputed border

The Indian authority has released china’s people’s liberation army PLA who were arrested for crossing the disputed borders in eastern Ladakh.

The senior army official has said that “The PLA soldier who had been apprehended on January 8, was handed back to China at Chushul – Moldo at 10.10 a.m. today,”

The PLA soldiers were interrogated for spying on the deployment of the Indian forces at the disputed borders region on Ladakh.

The PLA soldier has crossed the LAC Line of actual control at the friction point between both the countries at the south of Pangong lake.

The Indian army has arrested the PLA soldier who has transgressed across the Line of actual control and was taken into custody by the Indian troops posted in that area.

The Indian troops on either side are been posted along the Line of actual control (LAC) since the last friction erupted between the two countries last year due to the unprecedented mobilization and forward concentration by Chinese troops.

The defense minister two weak ago in its review had said that the PLA escalate the situation at that Line of actual control in the eastern Ladakh by the utilization of “unorthodox weapons and amassing a large number of troops”.

The ministry that china has made a unilateral and provocative action to change the status quo by force in more than one area on LAC. Thereafter India has responded to it in a non-escalator manner ensuring the sanctity of the eastern Ladakh.

India has conveyed to China that any attempt of disruption at the status quo border will be unacceptable and India is determined to protect its territory and sovereignty integrity.

India and China are involved in the nine-month-long stand-off at the Line of actual control (LAC) in the eastern Ladakh, in spite of many high levels of dialogue, there has not been any breakthrough, and the deadlock between both the countries
