Hyderabad: Actor turned politician Nandamuri Balakrishna today said that the development of an indigenous Covid 19 vaccine was a matter of pride to the entire country.
He also said that it was even a matter of pride that the indigenous vaccine was being used by the foreign countries of the world. He made these remarks while addressing a gathering at basavatarakam Indo American cancer hospital in the city.
Balakrishna is the chairman of the hospital. He hoisted the national flag on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day. Speaking on the occasion he urged the people of two Telugu-speaking states to work hard for the development of society by drawing inspiration from the freedom fighters of the country.
He praised that the doctors of the state had worked during Covid 19 pandemic. He paid tributes to all those who have died due to the Covid 19 virus. Commenting on the issue of the COVID-19 vaccination in the two states of the country, he said that the vaccination was being held in an excellent manner in the stat.
