Informed Voting: KCR’s Call for Critical Decision-Making

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, popularly known as KCR, said during a political rally in Bhainsa, Telangana, that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) should be given a lesson in the approaching Assembly elections on November 30.

The Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao reinforced this point, citing the BJP-led central government’s failure to award medical institutions and Navodaya schools for the state.

During his speech, KCR chastised both the BJP and the Congress. He alleged that the BJP-led central government has not allocated a single medical college or Navodaya school to Telangana, which he believes is damaging to the state’s growth and future. His criticism focused on the BJP’s lack of support for such key educational institutions.

He also voiced his dissatisfaction with the Congress party, particularly its leaders like Rahul Gandhi, who have proposed the abolition of Dharani, an integrated land management system. KCR argues that removing Dharani might restore a “middlemen regime,” which his government had hoped to eradicate with this portal.

The Chief Minister also took advantage of the occasion to promote his government’s accomplishments. He stated that his Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) administration had set aside Rs 12,000 crore for minorities’ welfare, significantly exceeding the Rs 900 crore spent by the previous Congress government over a decade.

KCR’s message to the people was simple: decide which party has actually helped them and vote accordingly in the next elections. He asked people to think critically and base their votes on facts about the functioning of his government.

KCR reflected on the state’s early days, stressing the difficulties it encountered, including a lack of appropriate electricity and drinking water infrastructure. Telangana is now the only state in India that offers free 24-hour power to its farmers. The Chief Minister also emphasized the significant increase in fertilizer availability, which was formerly scarce during the Congress government.

Notably, KCR emphasized the absence of curfews in Telangana for the last 10 years, attributing this to the state’s exceptional communal peace. He stated his commitment to preserving Telangana’s secular status and promoting peaceful coexistence of all communities.

He also used the occasion to address the problem of Dalits in the country, highlighting that the Congress has long considered them as a simple vote bank.the Assembly elections proaching, KCR’s rally in Bhainsa demonstrated his desire to campaign for his party, the BRS, and to underline the importance of voters carefully considering their options in the impending votes.
