Hyderabad: Insurance employees throughout the country, under the banner of All India Insurance Employees Association (AIIEA) and All India LIC Employees Federation (AILICEF) are participating in the two-day nationwide strike on January 8 and 9 as per the call of the National Trade Unions, opposing the “anti-people, anti-working class” policies of the Central Government and demanding immediate resolution of their long-pending just demands of the workers and farmers.
On the occasion, the Insurance Corporation Employees’ Union (ICEU), Hyderabad division and Insurance Employees Union (IEU), Hyderabad Division are organizing a massive rally on the premises of LIC Divisional Office at Saifabad at 11 am on Tuesday. Apart from the leaders from the fraternal Trade Unions, leaders from CITU and AITUC will be addressing the strike rally. (NSS)
