Hyderabad : City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, IPS, ordered detention of Mohammed Irfan Khan, an auto driver-cum-property offender of Bahadurpura Police Station, under Preventive Detention Act on February 22.
Accused Mohammed Irfan Khan, 37, auto driver, residing at Akbar Colony, Mailardevpally, Ranga Reddy district, committed four robberies and extortions under the limits of Hyderabad and Cyberabad Police Commissionerates in the recent past creating fear psychosis among the general public and affected public order, peace in the society.
The Bahadurpura police arrested him on November 12, 2018 and remanded him to judicial custody. The PD order was executed on him on February 23 and lodged in Chanchalguda, Central Prison. (NSS)
